Just a little quiz fun..thought it would add to the randomness

My mom came yesterday and we had our little spa relaxation party. Seeing her just made me realize how much i miss her and home. We had our girly moments and just spent the day catching up and girly talking which is always fun. There's just a difference between Sigma girly talks and mom girly talks... I can't believe i almost went to school 8 hrs farther away.....i don't think i could've handled that at all. The good thing about Murray that i thought was horrible at first is that i know i can go home anytime if i needed to since i'm only an hour and a half away. I think her and my dad are getting better..which was FANTASTIC to hear. Everything is going to be better now.

I hung out with my big, grand big, and god-big last night. FUN TIMES and can we say RANDOM?? It was fun playing dress up and trying to see what to wear to formal. Then we just played random dress up and that was even more fun. We did get a couple of stares as we walked in Wal mart...oh i can't wait to get pictures. THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE DROP OF ALCOHOL, OR MARIJUANA INVOLVED. It was just us girls acting silly when left to our own devices. (That's what happens when boyfriends aren't in town...or working....)

Last night i also got to taste some FABULOUS international food. The International Students had a little potluck contest and we got to judge!! The Pad-Thai was EXCELLENT and it won 2nd place..they also had some Indian Daal, which is always good..they had tohm-yum too...and this incredible Death by chocolate, which my mom makes too. And THEY HAD RICE!!! Makes me happy :-)

So that was pretty much it then today i slept in for a little bit and did some cleaning up. I am most likely going to be spending the rest of my day at the library or at the study lounge. I need to start studying for finals...otherwise i'm going to feel completely overwhelmed and panicked....

The good news is that Miss Saigon is coming to Nashville. The bad news is that it's coming next week. Why couldn't it come over Thanksgiving break??? Hmmm...wonder if my parents would let me go to Cincinnati to watch it.....

I can't believe this semester is almost over....it's flown by so fast....but at the same time it feels like i've been here longer than just a few months....

I'm looking outside and there's this tree with the prettiest shade of red on the leaves....it's a gorgeous autumn day outside.

I'm really looking forward to St. Louis. Should be fun. Then i get to go home and see my mahal!! (and everyone else.....)

Sometimes i keep forgetting that i'm not a teenager anymore...i said something bout how people probably think we were "crazy teenagers" last night...but then brittaney's like...except you're the only one probably closest to being a teenager....and that struck me as odd....i keep forgetting that everyone around me is practically an adult....we sure don't act like it but hey...that's what "Making Memories" is all about :-)

Well i'm going to work on some sin and cosine...O how much i loathe thee....
